The report is based on plants growing in the Ciampea limestone hills, Ciampea sub-district, west of Bogor, West Java. Description, ecology, illustration and a brief discussion regarding the occurrence state of this species as naturalized species in Java are presented. Mitotic and Karyotype of <em>Indigofera suffruticosa</em> Mill. in Central Java. <em>Floribunda</em> 6(6): 213–219 . — <em>I</em><em>ndigofera suffruticosa</em> has been widely used by Indonesians, but its cytological information is still limited. This study was aimed to observe the mitotic phases and chromosome structures of <em>I. suffruticosa</em>. The analysis was performed on <em>I. suffruticosa </em>sampled from Magelang, Central Java. Mitotic phases and chromosomes’ structures were observed using root tips prepared with the squash method. The chromosome morphological structure was analyzed with karyotype maps using Image Raster, Corel Draw, and Microsoft Excel. The observation showed that <em>I. suffruticosa </em>were at various mitosis phases starting from prophase, pro-metaphase, metaphase, anaphase, and telophase. The chromosome in the pro-metaphase was analyzed for its karyotype morphology. The species has some diploid chromosomes (2n = 16). <em>I. suffruticosa</em>’s<em> </em>chromosomes have an average chromosome’ length of 2.08 µm with submetacentric and metacentric types. Catatan pada Rumput Kebar (<em>Oxalidaceae</em>). <em>Floribunda</em> 6(6): 220–224. — Rumput Kebar merupakan tumbuhan yang banyak dimanfaatkan sebagai obat dan penyubur kandungan. Sampai saat ini masih dijumpai penggunaan nama ilmiah untuk rumput kebar dengan menggunakan nama yang tidak valid. Di samping itu penggunaan nama lokal rumput Kebar juga mengarahkan pada dugaan bahwa jenis yang dimaksud masih berkerabat dengan rumput-rumputan (<em>Poaceae</em>). Hasil pengamatan spesimen herbarium dan studi literatur mendapatkan bahwa nama ilmiah rumput kebar adalah <em>Biophytum umbraculum</em> Welw dan <em>B. petersianum </em>Klotzsh merupakan sinonim. Variasi Ciri Mikromorfologi Biji <em>Begonia</em> (<em>Begoniaceae</em>) di Sumatra. <em>Floribunda</em> 6(6): 225–235. — Biji merupakan salah satu ciri penting dalam mempertelakan jenis <em>Begonia</em>. Karakter biji digunakan dalam deskripsi jenis <em>Begonia</em> adalah bentuk dan panjang biji, panjang <em>collar cell</em> (sel kerah), dan rasio <em>collar cell</em> dengan panjang biji. Untuk melengkapi karakter yang digunakan dalam deskripsi ini maka dilakukan pengamatan menggunakan SEM dengan alat table top SEM Hitachi TM3030. Hasil pengamatan dari 16 jenis dari empat seksi <em>Begonia</em> yang diamati menunjukan adanya perbedaan di antara empat seksi yang tumbuh di Sumatra. Perbedaan antara seksi terdapat pada bentuk antiklinal, area antar antiklinal dan pola kutikula.
