Indonesian Society for Plant Taxonomy (Penggalang Taksonomi Tumbuhan Indonesia, PTTI) is the only professional non-profit organization in plant taxonomy, biodiversity and conservation in Indonesia

PTTI was founded on September 28, 1985 in the last day of Methodological Research in Plant Taxonomy Course held by National Biological Institute (LBN - LIPI), Rijksherbarium Leiden and UNESCO at Bogor. The Society is purposed to enhance plant taxonomical researches in Indonesia, develop knowledge and skill of future Indonesian plant taxonomists. PTTI also published an scientific journal FLORIBUNDA to accommodate research publications, observation and records of Indonesia`s plants diversity. PTTI`s logo is taken from the flower oh native Indonesian Tabernaemontana floribunda.
